  1. Open SpotlightDo Use the device where you are signed in with your Google account.
  2. Go to Settings Open the Account section after Settings loads.
  3. Tap Delete account Read the confirmation carefully. This action is permanent.
  4. Confirm with Google Re-select your Google account when prompted so the app can verify it is you.

How Deletion Works

Deletion starts after SpotlightDo verifies that you own the signed-in Google account. The app deletes cloud data first, then deletes the Firebase account, then clears local SpotlightDo data on the device where deletion was performed.

If cloud deletion fails, the app keeps your account active so you can retry instead of losing access to data that still needs deletion.

What Is Deleted

  • Your SpotlightDo account record.
  • Your synced tasks, notes, categories, reminders, and note images.
  • Your local SpotlightDo data on the device where you perform deletion.
  • Your synced Pro entitlement record for this account, if present.

What May Remain

Data on other devices is removed when those devices next sync or when you clear or delete the app there. Copies in encrypted Firebase system backups may remain temporarily and are removed according to Firebase backup retention.
